WELCOME

We want as many people as possible to be able to experience RSVP.

Because immersive horror affects everyone differently, we’ve put together this guide to help you decide whether RSVP is the right experience for you, what to expect when you arrive, and what support is available before and during your visit.

If you have any questions, concerns, or accessibility requirements that aren’t covered here, please get in touch before booking.

We’d always rather answer a question before the party begins than have you arrive unsure of what to expect.

AUDIENCE INTERACTION

RSVP is an immersive experience, which means you’re part of the story rather than simply watching it unfold.

Throughout the experience, the Crimbles may:

  • Speak directly to you
  • Invite you to take part in Tommy’s birthday games and activities
  • Ask you questions
  • Encourage you to work with other guests
  • Invite you to solve puzzles or help progress the story

Participation is encouraged, but never compulsory.

You will never be forced to participate in an activity or interaction.

However, please be aware that RSVP is designed to feel unpredictable.

The Crimbles may react naturally to your choices, responses, and behaviour as part of the experience.

If you need to step away completely, our Safe Phrase & Safe Exit procedure is available below.

Your wellbeing will always come before the performance.

If at any point you need to leave the experience, simply use our Safe Phrase:

“I’m a Crimble, get me out of here!”

A member of the Ezra Immersive team will help you leave safely and discreetly.

You do not need to explain why you are leaving.

PHYSICAL CONTACT

The Crimble family aren’t particularly good at respecting personal space.

Throughout the experience, the Crimbles may occasionally initiate light physical contact as part of an interaction.

This may include:

  • A handshake
  • A high five
  • Holding your hand
  • A hug
  • A gentle touch on the shoulder

The Crimbles will never intentionally or aggressively:

  • Grab, push, or restrain guests
  • Force physical interaction
  • Carry guests
  • Physically force guests to participate

If you would prefer not to receive physical contact during the experience, you can request a No Contact Badge during the booking process or before the experience begins.

The Crimbles will recognise these badges and avoid initiating physical contact wherever reasonably possible.

Please be aware that, due to the nature of a live experience and shared audience spaces, incidental contact may occasionally occur.

ACCESSIBILITY & MOBILITY

The venue is wheelchair accessible, with step-free access throughout the experience.
An accessible toilet is also available at the venue.

RSVP involves some movement around the venue over the course of approximately 75 minutes, but you will never be required to complete a physical activity that you are unable to do.

During one part of the experience, guests may be asked to hide as part of the story. Different hiding options will be available, including options that do not require guests to crouch, get underneath furniture, sit on the floor, or leave a wheelchair.

This means guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users can still take part in the same moment alongside the rest of the group.

If standing or moving for periods of time may be difficult for you, or there is anything else we can do to help you take part comfortably, please contact us before booking so we can discuss your requirements and what support may be possible.

HIDDEN DISABILITIES & INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS

We understand that not all disabilities, medical conditions, or accessibility requirements are visible.

You do not need to explain more about your disability or condition than you are comfortable sharing. However, if there is anything you think would help us support your visit, please get in touch.

We will always do our best to discuss available support and make reasonable adjustments where possible.

If you would prefer to discuss something privately rather than in front of the people you are attending with, please let a member of our team know when you arrive.

SENSORY INFORMATION

RSVP is designed to create an immersive, sometimes intense atmosphere. This includes changes in lighting, sound, proximity, and activity throughout the experience.

The following information is provided to help guests with sensory sensitivities decide whether RSVP is suitable for them.

LIGHTING & DARKNESS

RSVP takes place across a mixture of normally lit and dimly lit environments.

There is one brief period of darkness during the experience. During this time, guests will remain stationary and will not be required to move until lighting returns.

The experience may include flashing lights, strobe effects, and other theatrical lighting effects. Where used, these effects will be brief.

Guests with photosensitive epilepsy or concerns regarding lighting effects should contact us before booking so we can provide further information where possible.

SOUND

RSVP includes:

  • Loud music
  • Sudden sound effects
  • Raised voices
  • Screaming
  • Sudden changes in volume
  • Moments of silence used to build suspense

Sound design is an important part of the experience and may not be suitable for all guests with sound sensitivities.

HEARING & VISUAL ACCESSIBILITY

RSVP is a live, interactive experience that uses a combination of spoken dialogue, visual storytelling, sound, lighting, physical interactions, puzzles, and environmental clues.

Some information required to follow the story or take part in activities may be communicated verbally or visually.

If you have a hearing or visual impairment, please contact us before booking so we can talk honestly about the experience and discuss any reasonable adjustments that may be possible.

We’d rather explain exactly what RSVP involves than leave you guessing.

CONENT INFORMATION

RSVP is a dark comedy horror experience that gradually increases in intensity as the story unfolds.

The experience includes:

  • Live character interaction
  • Horror themes
  • Psychological tension
  • Simulated violence
  • Theatrical blood and gore
  • Disturbing imagery
  • Sudden scares
  • Mature themes

Every guest reacts differently to horror.

We’re happy to answer questions honestly and, where possible, provide more detailed information about particular content without spoiling the experience unnecessarily.

medical conditions

RSVP includes sudden scares, loud noises, theatrical lighting, periods of darkness, audience interaction, and some movement around the venue.

If you have a medical condition that you think could be affected by any aspect of the experience, please consider whether RSVP is suitable for you and seek professional medical advice where appropriate.

Necessary medication and medical equipment can be brought with you.

If there is anything our team should know in order to support you during your visit, you are welcome to speak to us beforehand or privately when you arrive.

pregnancy

RSVP does not involve strenuous physical activity as a requirement for participation, but it does include periods of heightened tension, sudden scares, loud noises, theatrical effects, movement around the venue, and horror content.

Guests who are pregnant should consider whether these elements are suitable for their individual circumstances before booking and seek professional medical advice where appropriate.

assistance dogs

We understand the important role assistance dogs play in supporting many guests.

However, RSVP includes loud noises, sudden scares, theatrical effects, close audience interaction, and an intentionally unpredictable environment.

Because of this, parts of the experience may be unsuitable or distressing for some assistance dogs.

If you use an assistance dog, please contact us before booking so we can discuss your requirements, explain the environment in more detail, and explore what reasonable support may be available.

emergency procedures

Guest safety always takes priority over the performance.

If a genuine emergency occurs, the immersive experience will stop and our team will provide clear instructions.

Accessible emergency routes and venue procedures will be followed, and guests requiring assistance will be supported in accordance with the venue’s emergency procedures.

Please follow instructions from the Ezra Immersive team in the event of an evacuation or emergency.
