The Crimble House Rules
Important things to know before your visit
Welcome, guest.
Before stepping through the door, there are a few things we ask you to understand.
The Crimbles believe that every good guest should know what awaits them. Your visit may be unusual, unpredictable, and unlike anything you have experienced before but your comfort, safety, and enjoyment remain important throughout your time with us.
Please take a moment to read through the following house rules before entering.
Rule One: Know What Awaits You
RSVP is an immersive experience created by Ezra Immersive, inviting guests into the world of the Crimble family.
Your visit may include:
- Horror themes
- Simulated violence
- Theatrical blood and gore
- Disturbing imagery
- Loud noises
- Sudden scares
- Flashing lights or theatrical lighting effects
- Brief periods of darkness
- Interactive storytelling and puzzles
Things may become stranger, more intense, and more unpredictable as your visit continues.
By entering RSVP, you understand that this is not a traditional theatre performance. The story may unfold around you, involve you, and occasionally respond to your choices.
Rule Two: Guests Are Part of the Story
The Crimbles welcome guests to Tommy’s Party and guests may find themselves becoming part of the evening.
During your visit:
- You may interact directly with members of the Crimble family.
- You may be spoken to, approached, questioned, or involved within the story.
- Your choices, reactions, and conversations may influence how your experience unfolds.
Participation is encouraged, but you are never required to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
If you would prefer a quieter visit, please make this known to a member of the team.
Rule Three: Respect the Hall (And Those Within It)
The Crimble home is a place of mystery, but it is still a shared space.
Guests must:
- Treat other guests, members of the Crimble family, and the wider team with respect.
- Follow any instructions given by the Crimble family or event team.
- Avoid behaviour that may cause harm, distress, or disruption to others.
- Not intentionally damage the surroundings, props, or belongings within the experience.
Any guest who behaves in a way that risks the safety or enjoyment of others may be asked to leave.
Rule Four: Boundaries Are Always Respected
The Crimbles enjoy getting to know their guests, but every guest has their own boundaries.
During your visit:
- Some members of the Crimble family may initiate limited, non-forceful physical contact as part of the experience.
- Physical contact will never be required to participate.
- Guests may request no physical contact before the experience.
If you would prefer not to have physical interaction, simply request a No Contact Badge before entering.
Your boundaries will always be respected.
Rule Five: Every Guest Has A Way Out
Even the bravest guests may need a moment.
If at any point during your visit you feel uncomfortable, overwhelmed, or need assistance:
- Use the agreed Safe Phrase.
- Speak to any member of the team.
- Request to leave the experience.
There is no shame in stepping away. The Crimbles would rather a guest leave safely than continue beyond their comfort.
Rule Six: Look After Yourself Before Entering
RSVP is designed to be an intense experience.
Please consider whether this visit is suitable for you before entering.
You should inform the team before your visit if you have concerns regarding:
- Accessibility requirements
- Sensory sensitivities
- Medical conditions that may be affected by intense environments
- Pregnancy
- Any other concerns that may affect your experience
