A Quick Word Before The Party Starts…
The Crimbles can be a lot.
RSVP is designed to be immersive, strange, and occasionally unsettling. For many guests, that’s exactly what makes the experience memorable.
However, every guest is different. Sometimes things can become a little too much, and that’s okay.
If you need to leave the experience at any point, a way out is always available.
The Safe Phrase
If at any point you would like to leave the experience, simply say:
“I’m a Crimble, get me out of here!”
Using this phrase lets the Crimble family and our team know that you want to stop participating and leave the experience.
Once the Safe Phrase has been used, the team will step in where necessary and help you leave as calmly and discreetly as possible.
You don’t need to explain why you’re using it, and you don’t need anyone else’s permission.
Please don’t use the Safe Phrase as part of the game, a joke, or to impress Tommy.
He takes these things very seriously.
What If I Forget The Phrase?
Don’t worry.
The Safe Phrase gives everyone a clear and recognisable way to tell us they need to leave, but we’re not going to keep you at Tommy’s birthday party because you forgot the exact words.
If you clearly tell a Crimble or member of the Ezra Immersive team that you need to stop or leave, we’ll help you.
Your wellbeing will always come before staying in character.
If We Check In With You
Sometimes a guest may not use the Safe Phrase but may still appear distressed, overwhelmed, unwell, or unable to continue.
If a Crimble or member of the Ezra Immersive team becomes concerned for your wellbeing, they may pause your participation and check in with you.
Depending on the circumstances, we may recommend or decide that leaving the experience is the safest option.
We may also remove a guest from the experience where this is necessary for their own safety or the safety and wellbeing of others.
Your wellbeing will always come before the story.
Leaving The Party
If you use the Safe Phrase or otherwise ask to leave, a member of the Ezra Immersive team will guide you away from the experience as calmly and discreetly as possible.
Where appropriate and where space is available, we will help you find somewhere away from the performance while you decide what you need next.
If you are attending with a guest aged 16 or 17 for whom you are the responsible accompanying adult, arrangements will need to be made to ensure they remain appropriately supervised if either of you leaves the experience.
Returning To The Party
Once you have left the experience, returning may not be possible.
RSVP is a live, continuously unfolding story, so bringing someone back into the experience later may not be safe or practical and could affect the experience for other guests.
Our team will make the decision based on the circumstances at the time.
Refunds
Using the Safe Phrase is always okay, and you should never avoid using it because you’re worried about your ticket.
However, choosing to leave the experience early does not normally entitle you to a refund.
Any refund or transfer requests will be considered in accordance with our RSVP Terms & Conditions.

Using the Safe Phrase isn’t failing the experience, ruining the story, or causing us a problem. It’s there to be used if you need it.
